Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026. This policy explains how Tree processes personal data through PDFLLM.
Local PDF processing
PDF processing runs in your browser by default. PDF files, extracted text, page images, and export archives are not uploaded to the PDFLLM backend. OCR language data is downloaded from Project Naptha’s model host; the request does not contain your PDF content.
Data we collect
When you create an account, we process your email address and authentication records. Supabase stores plan entitlement, quota reservations, successful-task metadata, and payment status. Conversion history contains only a task ID, file size, page count, and completion time—not filenames, PDFs, or extracted content. We also process messages you choose to send to support.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this data to provide accounts, enforce free and paid allowances, prevent abuse, provide support, perform the subscription contract, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent.
Payments and service providers
Waffo Pancake acts as merchant of record and hosts checkout, processing payments, billing, transaction taxes, refunds, and disputes; PDFLLM does not receive full card numbers. Supabase provides authentication, database, and Edge Functions. CloudFront serves decorative background media, and Project Naptha hosts OCR language data. These providers may process data outside your region under their respective privacy terms.
Cookies and local storage
PDFLLM uses only cookies or browser storage necessary for account sessions and security, plus conversion preferences and temporary results stored on your device. The current version does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Retention, deletion, and your rights
You can delete your account from the account panel. Identity, profile, subscription association, and conversion records will be deleted. Minimal payment events needed for security, accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, or legal obligations may be retained after removing the account association. You may email support to request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion; we will respond as required by applicable law.
Security, children, and changes
We use access controls, row-level security, and data minimization, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. PDFLLM is not directed to children below the digital-consent age in their location. Material changes will update the effective date on this page and, where required, be communicated separately.
